Managed to get the Valentine potholder almost done, I'm on the last round of edging. Had to quit because my hands were killing me! I don't know how I'm going to get the two spiffers and the notepad cover done, I swear. I have to find crochet help!!
Hoping I can get it together to go over and drop off Winston Schnauzer's adoption papers to my volunteer, who was originally going to foster him but now is going to be his forever mom, yay! He is kind of irresistible!
The water guys are up the street working on our water line again this morning. You should have seen me. I saw that truck pull up the street and I ran to fill up the bathtub, the kitchen sink and a bunch of pitchers of water for the dogs (and for coffee of course!) Have to keep Mr. Keurig filled up and ready to go!
I should go yarn shopping for all the projects I want to do for SoCrafty for February/March but not quite in the frame of mind yet. I won't be able to drive for weeks since they are operating on my right knee, so I have to plan ahead and have the stuff for each week's project till oh... probably April! It is going to totally suck being trapped again. I hate being trapped. Oh well... gotta pull out my "big girl" card and get on with it, I suppose.
Well... off to let the kids out to potty and get myself together. Maybe I'll finish the potholder later this afternoon. I need a potholder break!

First Post To The New Blog!
Here 'tis, the first entry in the new Schnauzies blog! It's my "everything else" blog for all the stuff I don't write about in my SheilaSparkles blog, which has had to become pretty much dedicated to crochet design stuff. That's a good thing!
It's been a long day. Wrote an article for Squidoo (I do that almost every single day, at least one) that I think will be fun. Not quite finished, needs a few tweaks and will publish tomorrow. Listed more stuff on Listia and eBay. Cleaned up more than a few doggie messes, not so fun. This evening went with DH and DD to DD's new house which she is moving into this weekend (moving out of our house). Dad had to set up her new TV and TV stand. The three of us went to Village Inn afterward. Ho-hum.
Snowed last night, looked like we got 3-4" altogether. We had a water line break up the street a couple houses away, so was without water last night for about 3 hours. It took me straight back mentally to being down on the farm and having something major happen. Down there it was a huge deal if something like that happened! Used to have an electric water pump, so when the lights even flickered I would RUN to fill up the bathtub to have emergency water for the dogs, etc. At least we don't have that problem here.
Anyway the snow was pretty, the water was back on by 11. We don't have much water pressure today and won't for awhile because the hole's still open, they only did a temp repair. Oh well, we're getting by fine. Here's what it looked like out my window this morning.
The furkids got a good romp in the new snow, which they always love. I took a picture of them napping out on the pillow after they came in and crashed.

Getting very chilly in here. I always get that way when I get sleepy. Of course it's after 1 a.m., wonder why!
Let's see... only other big news is that yesterday I got accepted as an Associate Professional in CGOA. That was kinda cool. Let's see what that brings.
Managed to get all my packages together to get ready to go, but didn't manage to get to the post office so have to do that tomorrow. Probably pick up a few things at the store while I'm at it.
Off of here, need to let the kids out for last potty then nighty-night time.
